KUBERNETES LEAD ARCHITECT (M/W/D)

#Profile

Technical leadership in the architecture, design, and strategic evolution of highly available, scalable, and secure Kubernetes environments
Definition and enforcement of architecture standards, platform guidelines, and best practices
Ownership of cluster topologies as well as network, security, and storage architectures
Evaluation, selection, and introduction of Kubernetes ecosystem tools and platform components
Coaching and technical guidance of DevOps and Platform Engineering teams
Establishment and continuous improvement of GitOps and Platform Engineering approaches
Responsibility for technical documentation at architecture and decision-making level
Active evaluation of new technologies, trends, and risks in the cloud-native ecosystem and derivation of strategic recommendations

#Wanted

Several years of experience designing and owning Kubernetes architectures in production-critical environments
Previous experience in technical leadership roles or as a Lead Architect is a strong advantage
Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, scaling strategies, and cluster lifecycle management
Strong knowledge of modern GitOps and CI/CD architectures
Excellent Linux skills and solid experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies (Terraform, Ansible)
Strong understanding of security, compliance, high-availability, and resilience requirements
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to developers, management, and stakeholders
Cloud certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect)
Very good German and English skills
