NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER (M/W/D)

Klagenfurt, Vienna, Graz, Karlsruhe, Remote | full time

You are committed, convincing through your independent and structured way of working, and you are not afraid to explore new territory. You have a high customer orientation, enjoy working in a team, and your sense of responsibility sets you apart.

#Profile

Operation and expansion of the firewalls used in our network
Configuration, documentation, troubleshooting including on-call duty
Creating security concepts
Communication and consulting for our customers
Development and expansion of network architecture
Independent project work (e.g. customer takeovers, new installations, etc.)

#Wanted

Completed technical education (apprenticeship, HTL, etc.) or several years of relevant professional experience
In-depth knowledge of network technologies (ACL, NAT, VPN) and experience with security solutions and technologies (e.g., web filtering, IDS/IPS)
Experience with Linux system tools and common monitoring applications
Knowledge of Fortinet Firewall CLIs is desirable
Experience in creating scripts in Python is an advantage
High willingness to learn, reliable and accurate way of working
Participation in on-call duty
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
